أَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّى أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ وَالْهَرَمِ وَالْمَأْثَمِ وَالْمَغْرَمِ وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْقَبْرِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ النَّارِ وَعَذَابِ النَّارِ وَ مِنْ شَرِّ فِتْنَةِ الْغِنَى وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْفَقْرِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ أَللَّهُمَّ اغْسِلْ عَنِّى خَطَايَاىَ بِمَاءِ الثَّلْجِ وَالْبَرَدِ وَ نَقِّ قَلْبِى مِنَ الْخَطَايَا كَمَا نَقَّيْتَ الثَّوْبَ الْأَبْيَضَ مِنَ الدَّيْنِ وَ بَاعِدْ بَيْنِى وَبَيْنَ خَطَايَاىَ كَمَا بَاعَدْتَ بَيْنَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ

 

Allahumma innee a’oodhu bika minal-kasali walharami wal-ma’thami wal-maghrami wa min fitnatil-qabr wa ‘adhabil-qabri, wa min fitnatin-nar wa ‘adhabin-nar wa min sharri fitnatil-ghana wa a’oodhu bika min fitnatil faqri wa a’oodhu bika min fitnati masihid-dajjali... Allahumma aghsil `annee khatayaya bima’ith-thalfi wal-barad, wa naqqi qalbi minal-khataya kama naqqaytath-thawbal-abyadha mina addeeni wa ba’id bayni wa bayna khatayaya kama ba’adta baynal-mashriqi wal-maghrib.^[1]

 

O Allah, protect me by virtue of the meaning of the letter B, from laziness, senility, sin (succumbing to bodily desires), fear, debt, the provocation of the grave, the suffering of the grave, the provocation of the fire, the suffering of the fire, and the danger of the trial of wealth... I seek refuge in You from the trial of poverty, the provocation (trial) of the antichrist... O Allah, please wash the dirt of my sins (arising from the illusion that I am this body) with (untouched) snow water and hail... Like purifying a white garment from dirt, purify my heart from sins (arising from mistakenly thinking I am this body) and make the distance between my sins and I as vast as the distance between the East and the West.

 

This prayer, narrated by Hadhrat Aisha (ra), summarizes that which the Rasulullah (saw) knows to be a threat to man and teaches us to seek refuge from it in Allah.

Laziness is a disease that eliminates the function of the concept of humanity... Senility is also a disease that hinders man’s consciousness and renders man dysfunctional... Fear is the greatest evil in impeding the progress of man, preventing him from putting his thoughts into action.

Can you imagine the initial shock and horror you would feel being buried alive, totally conscious and able to perceive your surroundings, and having to come face to face with the creatures of this new dimension of life? How scary and shocking it must be! And what if you’re not prepared for this dimension, how dreadful it would be to have to cope with and adapt to a totally new dimension and condition of life while completely unprepared!

If, due to your lack of knowledge, your logic remains incapable of fathoming this truth, then perhaps you won’t fear the provocation and suffering of the grave… Though the Rasul of Allah (saw) warns us about this! Whether you take heed or not, the consequences will be binding upon you...

The provocation of the antichrist... He is blind of the right eye, in other words, he is veiled from perceiving the truth, he will possess extraordinary powers that will make mankind deify and serve him when he claims to be the great lord.

First, the Mahdi will emerge... The Mahdi will invite mankind to believe in Allah, he will remind people that Allah is the infinite, limitless One, and that there is no god to deify, that Allah is the Oneness beyond all form, color and all conceptual understandings, that He is the possessor of sublime knowledge and power, beyond the universe, beyond energy, etc... Then, the antichrist will emerge and convince mankind that he is god, the one they’ve been deifying and worshipping for centuries...

Those who have comprehended the concept of Allah, as described by the Mahdi, will not succumb to the antichrist no matter how extraordinary and supernatural his displays may be, they will remain loyal to the teachings of the Quran and Muhammad (saw) and pass on to the next dimension in this state of faith.

But those who have not grasped the chapter Ikhlas in the Quran, and thus haven’t quite understood the concept of Allah, thinking he is an external god, are going to be awed by and submit to this ‘god’ who appears before them, unaware of the bitter consequence of their failure to take heed of the warning they were given.

The only way to escape the provocation of the antichrist is by truly understanding the concept of Allah as explained in chapter Ihklas.

We seem to hear more and more of extraterrestrial visits, UFOs and aliens these days, and those who claim the god of mankind is to come to earth... These could be important signs...

We don’t know when the Mahdi will come, we can’t know when the antichrist will come... These are in the knowledge of Allah; however, we can prepare ourselves, increase our knowledge and warn the generation to come after us, for the signs show us these days are not too far...

The collection of hadith called Qutubu Sittah contains important information regarding the Mahdi and antichrist. Those who wish to obtain more information can resort to it, especially the hadith narrated by Ibn Maja, Muslim and Bukhari.

According to these hadith, the antichrist is going to be able to fly from one side of the earth to the other, travel the earth in 40 days, leave no house unvisited, be sighted in many places around the world at once... Of course, centuries ago when the concept of airplanes and television didn’t exist, this was the kind of language that had to be employed... I suggest we look further than the literal meaning of these warnings...

The Rasul of Allah (saw) emphasizes the importance of the antichrist with his words, “Humanity has not seen such provocation (fitnah) since its creation.”

This is because the antichrist is going to possess such extraordinary powers and display such supernatural things that everyone except those under the protection of Allah are going to believe in him.

Jesus (as) is going to be the only person to remove the antichrist from earth. There are endless theories as to whether Jesus is going to come back or not and in what form, etc… According to the knowledge and insight bestowed to me by Allah, my understanding is as follows:

Before departing from earth Jesus is said to have said, “I will come back to earth two thousand years later.”

All authentic hadith books record that the Rasul of Allah (saw) has stated that Jesus (as) will definitely come back to earth and remove the antichrist.

According to my observation, Jesus (as) is currently in his spirit body freely corresponding with the other Rasuls and other eminent individuals who have attained self-conquest (fath) in the realm of barzakh.

Discovery (kashf) is the state of communication with the spiritual realm while still connected to the physical realm and body.

Self-conquest (fath) is when the holographic spirit body gains its independence, which in Sufism is referred to as dying before death.

So, those who have attained self-conquest, who have died before death, who have attained the ability to live with their radial-spirit body can densify and materialize into a physical body when they like…

Hidhr (as) is an example of this reality. He can switch to and from the radial-spirit body and physical body if and when he chooses…

It is also based on this reality that people like Abdulqadir Jilani are seen in different places at the same time.

So, Jesus’ return will also be an event of this sort where he will materialize his spirit body and appear with a physical body of a biological age of thirty-three. Only Allah knows the truth.

This is the observation bestowed by my Rabb… I admit my inability to duly thank Him…
