110. AN-NASR
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
إِذَا جَٓاءَ نَصْرُ اللهِ وَالْفَتْحُ {1} وَرَأَيْتَ النَّاسَ يَدْخُلُونَ فِي دِينِ اللهِ أَفْوَاجًا {2} فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ وَاسْتَغْفِرْهُ إِنَّهُ كَانَ تَوَّابًا {3
A`oodhu biLlaahi min al-shayṭaani l-rajeem
Bismi Llaahi l-raḥmaani l-raḥeem
1.’ithaa jaa’a naṣru L-laahi wal-fatḥ 2. Wara’ayta l-naasa yadkhuloona fee deeni L-laahi ‘afwaajan 3. Fasabbiḥ bi-ḥamdi rabbika wa‘astaghfirhu ‘innahu kaana tawwaaban
By the one who is denoted by the name Allah (who created my being with His Names in accord with the meaning of the letter ‘B’), the Rahman, the Rahim.
1. When the help (of Allah) and the conquest (absolute clarity - conscious observation) has come,
2. And you see the people entering the religion of Allah in masses,
3. Glorify (tasbih) your Rabb as his Hamd and ask forgiveness of Him! Indeed He is the Tawwab.
111. AL-MASAD
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
تَبَّتْ يَدَٓا أَبِي لَهَبٍ وَتَبَّ {1} مَا أَغْنَى عَنْهُ مَالُهُ وَمَا كَسَبَ {2} سَيَصْلَى نَارًا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍ {3
وَامْرَأَتُهُ حَمَّالَةَ الْحَطَبِ {4} فِي جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌ مِنْ مَسَدٍ {5
A`oodhu biLlaahi min al-shayṭaani l-rajeem
Bismi Llaahi l-raḥmaani l-raḥeem
1. Tabbat yadaa ‘abee lahabin wa-tabba 2. Maa ‘aghnaa `anhu maaluhu wa maa kasaba 3. Sayaṣlaa naaran thaata lahabin 4. Wa’amra’atuhu ḥammaalata l-ḥaṭabi 5. Fee jeedihaa ḥablun mmin mmasadin
By the one who is denoted by the name Allah (who created my being with His Names in accord with the meaning of the letter ‘B’), the Rahman, the Rahim.
1. May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined... And ruined he is!
2. Neither his wealth nor his earnings availed him!
3. He will be subject to a blazing Fire!
4. His wife as well... As a wood-carrier!
5. With a rope of palm-fiber around her neck!
112. AL-IKHLAS
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
قُلْ هُوَ اللهُ أَحَدٌ {1} أَللهُ الصَّمَدُ {2} لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ {3
وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ {4
A`oodhu biLlaahi min al-shayṭaani l-rajeem
Bismi Llaahi l-raḥmaani l-raḥeem
1. Qul huwa Llaahu ‘aḥadun 2. Allaahu l-ṣṣamadu 3. Lam yalid walam yoolad 4. Walam yakun llahu kufuwan ‘aḥadun
By the one who is denoted by the name Allah (who created my being with His Names in accord with the meaning of the letter ‘B’), the Rahman, the Rahim.
1. Say: “Allah is Ahad (One).” (Allah is the infinite, limitless and indivisible, non-dual ONENESS.)
2. “Allah is Samad” (Absolute Self-Sufficient One beyond any need or defect, free from the concept of multiplicity, and far from conceptualization and limitation. The one into whom nothing can enter, and the One from whom no other form of existence can come out!),
3. “He begets not. (No other form of existence has ever originated from Him, thus, there is no other.) Nor was He begotten.” (There is no other god or form of existence from which He could have originated.)
4. “There is none like unto Him!” (Nothing – no conception – in the micro or macro planes of existence is equivalent to or in resemblance of Him.)
